Commitment & Material
The use of wood is our biggest commitment. Reclaimed
wood furniture requires less paint and dye, meaning
that contamination is reduced even further.
Recylcied Wood
The wood we currently use most is reclaimed old timber, collected from sources such as old houses, boats, and railways.
Naturality
As a natural material, character-istics like wormholes, spots, and knots are normal. Since it's reclaimed wood, some original marks may remain, such as saw marks.
Approach
The cabinets are not made from a single piece of wood, so there are some join marks. Like skin with varying tones, natural raw materials exhibit some color variation. While we do our best to control the color variation in the wood, it cannot be completely avoided.
Eco-friendly Varnishes
Our Varnishes are free from toxins which means they don’t contaminate like the vast majority of traditional varnishes which are made from highly toxic chemical substances, giving products the most natural finish possible.
Teak is renowned for its high strength and durability.
Durability and Weather Resistance
Teak wood is naturally strong and resilient, making it highly resistant to wear, moisture, and pests, including termites. Thanks to its natural oils, teak effectively repels water, resists rot and fungi, and can endure outdoor weather changes without swelling, warping, or cracking.
Low Maintenance and Timeless Aesthetic
Teak requires minimal upkeep and doesn’t need staining or painting to preserve its quality. Over time, it develops a distinctive silver-grey patina. Its natural golden-brown hue and tight, straight grain pattern lend a classic, warm appeal to furniture pieces..
Rattan furniture combines natural beauty with durability,
offering a lightweight yet resilient option that brings warmth and texture to any space.
Eco-Friendliness and Sustainability
Rattan is one of the fastest growing tropical materials and is often sustainably harvested, leaving less impact on the environment than hardwoods. Many rattan products are handmade, reducing the need for heavy machinery and contributing to an eco-friendly process.

Natural Imperfections
Our rattan furniture is crafted from natural rattan vines and woven rattan skins. Due to its natural qualities, certain imperfections are unavoidable, such as spots, dark edges, knots, and color variations.
Handcrafting also leaves marks that add character, like small burrs (resulting from the fine rattan fibers), nail holes, and joints, which we repair as much as possible. Some rattan pieces undergo a distressed finishing process, where the rattan is dyed, wiped down, and retains marks in the crevices, simulating the color and texture changes that occur over time. This creates a vintage aesthetic that reflects the charm of aging without dirt.
Lightweight and Breathable Qualities
Linen is known for being lightweight and breathable, making it an ideal fabric. Its airy weave allows for excellent airflow, keeping it cool and comfortable throughout the year.
Easy Maintenance
Linen is extremely durable and easy to care for, withstanding everyday use while maintaining its quality.
It requires little maintenance, and regular washing will enhance softness and charm over time, developing a natural patina that adds character.
Comfort and Versatility
Shearling is a warm, insulating material that adjusts to your body heat, providing cozy comfort in cold weather. Durable and breathable, it remains soft and hypoallergenic, with natural lanolin offering antibacterial properties. Its water-repelling qualities keep you dry, while its static-resistant texture adds convenience. Plus, shearling ages beautifully, gaining unique character over time.
