Marble and Natural Stone Final Sale
Due to the fragile and distinctive nature of marble and other natural stones, all sales of these items are final. Once an order has been shipped, returns, exchanges, or cancellations cannot be accepted.
Natural Variations
Marble and natural stone are inherently unique materials, with variations in color, veining, texture, and edge characteristics. These natural differences are not considered defects and are therefore ineligible for return or exchange.
Shipping and Damage Handling
Marble and stone products are packaged with specialized materials and handled carefully to minimize the risk of damage during transit. Despite these precautions, unforeseen damage may occur. For items delivered via our White Glove Service, once delivery is completed and no issues are reported upon inspection, these items are considered final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.
Upon Delivery: Customers are strongly advised to inspect their items immediately upon receipt. Any damage should be documented with photographs and reported within 48 hours to order@zmhome.store
Damage Assessment: Claims reported within the 48-hour window will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Approved claims may be eligible for replacement or compensation, depending on the severity of the damage.
Customer Advisory
Customers are encouraged to measure their intended space accurately and consider the natural characteristics of marble before confirming a purchase. Our team is available to provide guidance and answer any questions to ensure the selected product meets both aesthetic and functional expectations.
Product
Our furniture is crafted from high-quality solid wood, valued for its stability, durability, and resistance to warping, gaps, or corrosion. Solid wood naturally adjusts to its environment over time, and slight movement or imperfections are part of its character.
Despite careful material selection and craftsmanship, solid wood may develop minor gaps or slight warping due to changes in humidity and temperature. Moreover, other factors such as regional climate differences, prolonged exposure to sunlight, dampness, or uneven placement can contribute to these natural variations. If you prefer furniture without natural movement, we recommend choosing pieces made with wood veneer.
By purchasing solid wood furniture from our company, you acknowledge and accept the natural characteristics of wood. Each piece may vary slightly in grain, color, and texture from samples or product images due to the inherent qualities of the material. As such, we make no representation, warranty, or guarantee regarding the exact color, sheen, or appearance of any product’s finish.
All ZM HOME rattan furniture is handwoven from natural plant rattan. Due to its organic nature, minor imperfections such as spots, knots, black edges, joints, splinters, or nail marks may occur and are part of its artisanal character.
Some pieces are lightly treated to preserve texture and create a subtle vintage look. These natural variations and handcrafted marks are normal and not considered defects. If you prefer furniture without such natural variations, we recommend choosing alternative materials such as Woven Rush, kraft paper, or leather weaving.
Due to the natural characteristics of rattan, placing heavy objects on rattan products may cause the strands to crush or deform. Frequent movement may lead to breakage of the rattan or damage to the frame.
ZMHOME’s linen fabrics are made using wet spinning and advanced yarn-dyeing techniques, woven with rapier loom technology into high-count, high-density fabrics. This ensures superior softness, crisp texture, vibrant color, breathability, stability, and durability, offering a more comfortable and long-lasting experience.
Our linen fabrics undergo a triple pre-shrinking process, so significant shrinkage is unlikely. However, due to the natural properties of the material, slight shrinkage may still occur with changes in air humidity, which is normal. To maintain the fabric’s structure and prevent further shrinkage, dry cleaning is recommended.
The leather materials used in our products are typically top-grain leather and saddle leather. They feature a fine texture, softness, and flexibility, while also being durable, breathable, and comfortable. The leather adapts to shape changes, withstands daily wear, and requires only simple care. Produced with minimal chemical treatment, it is eco-friendly and suitable for sustainable furniture.
We cherish the marks of time, performing only minimal distressing to preserve the worn and peeling paint as well as the warm, rich patina. Every texture, crack, and faded area tells a story, exuding a unique sense of aged charm and classical elegance.
Indoor Care:
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For light cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately to preserve the wood’s natural finish. Avoid prolonged contact with moisture.
Keep furniture out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources or air vents to maintain stable humidity.
Treat stains with a diluted neutral cleaner; avoid harsh chemicals, strong acids, or alcohol-based products.
Apply a thin layer of high-quality wood wax or natural beeswax every six months to enhance luster and maintain a polished finish.
Outdoor Care:
Allow natural silver-gray aging or apply specialized teak wax or natural beeswax periodically to maintain a golden-brown hue.
Clean surface dust and debris regularly to prevent mold.
Ensure proper drainage and avoid prolonged exposure to standing water.
Use only cleaners and maintenance oils formulated for outdoor teak.
Note: For reclaimed wood, use damp cloths sparingly to avoid damaging the patina or causing water absorption.
Protect from sun and brittleness: Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading and brittleness; use curtains or shades for protection.
Prevent moisture and mold: Ensure good ventilation during humid seasons; immediately blot any water spills with a dry cloth and avoid direct sunlight.
Dust and clean: Gently brush gaps with a soft brush; for stains, lightly wipe along the grain with a mildly soapy damp sponge, then dry thoroughly.
Restore and nourish: Wipe once per season with a mild saltwater solution to maintain flexibility and resilience.
ZM HOME carefully selects natural materials and applies finishes that enhance their beauty, character, and longevity.
Teak Wood: Sealed with a clear PU finish to protect against moisture, preserve grain and color, and improve durability.
Reclaimed Wood: Retains its natural patina, showcasing aged textures and unique character.
Rattan: Handwoven and treated to maintain flexibility, prevent brittleness, and highlight natural texture and subtle color variations.
Fabrics: Bouclé, Linen, Shearling, and Velvet are chosen for their softness, durability, and refined tactile quality.
Vintage Finishes: Applied selectively to accentuate wear, patina, and surface depth, adding classical charm.
Every material and finish is thoughtfully treated to protect the piece, emphasize its natural qualities, and ensure long-lasting performance.
Every vintage piece is carefully restored by our artisans, preserving its natural wood texture, patina, and character. Variations in grain, color, and wear are normal, making each item unique. No two pieces are exactly alike. Please note that due to the one-of-a-kind nature, vintage furniture is final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
